My boyfriend and I are currently travelling Australia and stumbled upon Four Pillars Gin on a rainy Sunday afternoon. Healesville, in Victoria’s Yarra Valley, where the distillery is located, is traditionally wine country. Approximately an hour’s drive from Melbourne, it’s definitely worth a visit.

I’ve always had the notion of visiting Tasmania since finding out that my grandpa’s sister emigrated there as a young woman. That part of Australia, disconnected from the mainland, standing proud on its own. We only had 5 days there so we tried to do the best bits. Let me tell you about my experience and recommendations.
Adelaide, or the city of churches as it’s otherwise known, seems to pale in comparison to the big wigs such as Sydney, Melbourne and even Brisbane, but after spending 5 days in and around the area, I’d like to tell you why Adelaide, or indeed South Australia, should most definitely be your next long weekend or a must see spot for those travelling from further afield.
