Nom Nom Korean | Tuggy Tucks In

I stumbled upon Nom Nom Korean during my first few weeks living in Brisbane. I found myself at a loose end craving something fresh yet flavoursome for lunch. I was enticed by Bakery Lane, where Nom Nom is situated. An enchanted looking little lane off Ann Street in Fortitude Valley not far from from Brunswick Street Mall that takes you to a courtyard of foodie heaven. You can get coffee in a cone from Flock Coffee, delicious looking crepes from Le Petit Paris Bakery and 2-4-1 Steak frites on Tuesdays from  The Apo, which is only some of the great delights awaiting you.

But back to Nom Nom. I opted for the Katsu Chicken Curry costing $15 – crumbed chicken in a mild curry with vegetables on rice. I was presented with a multi-coloured bowl of goodness, it was delicious and so filling, I only had to have something small for my evening meal. They have vegetarian, vegan and lots of gluten free options which I thought was excellent! There’s lots of choice to keep you coming back again and again, from Fried Octopus to traditional Beef Bulgogi.

Nom Nom Korean is open 7 day’s a week for lunch and dinner, they also serve craft beer and during the weekend they offer breakfast and I’m excited to try out both next time I go, just not beer and breakfast together, which means I’ll just have to keep coming back!
