We hae meat

Last Wednesday (29th July) I was invited by my good friend House of Herby to an event by We hae meat. Having just moved to Edinburgh I relied on old faithful, Google maps to get me to the location in Leith (somewhere I’ve only been twice in my life). I arrived to partake in a debate regarding the rightful name of one of We hae meat’s most popular products. What I would call square sausage, is known by many names from flat to Lorne sausage. The Caffeine Drip

I love coffee and was in need of a breakout from my Starbucks rut. I sought out this place based on a recommendation from WOW247Edinburgh’s Twitter page. The Caffeine Drip is conveniently located In the west end not far from Shandwick place. My boyfriend works near here so we often frequent this area of the city for after work drinks at Indigo Yard or the The West Room, if only I’d known a few more steps down the road this little coffee gem was here. The Bonham

Anyone who knows me, knows I love the deal websites on offer such as ‘Groupon’, ‘Wowcher’ and ‘Itison.com’. Although it can be a nuisance having copious amounts of emails sent to your inbox each day, scouring these websites have allowed me to experience some fantastic food that I just wouldn’t have discovered otherwise. I came across a deal of £24 for 2 people to be treated to afternoon tea with a glass of fizz. The normal price quoted at £50. I jumped at the chance to book, with no specific date or person in mind to go with, I knew I’d use it at some point! Continue reading
