I had the most wonderful Christmas dinner lately at The Urban Fox. I was invited along to a blogger event where I got to reconnect with the lovely Hayley from blog Honestly Russell and meet the equally lovely Charlene McElhinney and Bethany Jane from blog Adventure and Anxiety.
Having been in Australia the past year, I missed the opening of many a high profile London chain restaurant at Edinburgh’s St Andrew’s Square and one thing I kept hearing about again and again was Indian restaurant Dishoom and their bacon naans! Continue reading
Everyone loves burgers, whether they’re beef, chicken or of the veggie variety. They always seem to be a go-to on the menu for me. Recently Edinburgh has seen a surge in restaurants dedicated to the burger. I have by no means tried them all – I still have Five Guys, Byron, Whistle Stop Barber Shop and Burger Meats Bun to try to name a small few! I arrived to partake in a debate regarding the rightful name of one of We hae meat’s most popular products. What I would call square sausage, is known by many names from flat to Lorne sausage. I was not aware of the brand ‘We hae meat’ until tonight. They are indeed a Scottish based family-run, traditional butcher situated in Girvan, Ayrshire Continue reading

The Caffeine Drip is conveniently located In the west end not far from Shandwick place. My boyfriend works near here so we often frequent this area of the city for after work drinks at Indigo Yard or the The West Room, if only I’d known a few more steps down the road this little coffee gem was here.
