(AD-Gifted: I was invited to sample some of the wines and steaks on offer at The Chop House, Bruntsfield).
The Chop House is one of my favourite Edinburgh steak houses. I spent Hogmanay at their Bruntsfield restaurant (they boast 3 now, the other 2 are in Leith and at The Arches on Market Street). Their Bruntsfield one is a mere 12 minute walk from my house and it’s great to have fabulous steak pretty much on your doorstep! Continue reading
I am gushing over how good my Sunday has been. I received a very thoughtful Christmas present from my other half to attend a 3 hour cooking experience at Nick Nairn’s Cook School. Now as you all well know, I am a massive foodie and it felt great to be on the other side for a change – being the student instead of the teacher. However I don’t know much about Nick Nairn himself!
